About This Project

Pearson School, Jaipur is one the first few greenfield school run by Pearson group, a famous publishing company. Developed as an evolved example of sustainability, the school is designed to attain good indoor space quality and soft day lighting in class rooms and atria using passive energy saving techniques. Medium sized atria is spread and linked to each other providing a differential experience for every space.

The design of the school deploys a lot of new building techniques and some cross disciplinary methods to respond to extreme climate in Rajasthan. Unique indirect lighting system allows glare free classes and easy operation of smart boards. Light quality of atrium makes the space favourable to habitat amongst children and being echo free allows a lot of activity planning in the open areas.
