About This Project

Heart of city of Varanasi lied at the banks of holy river Ganga, where temples and ghats engage thousands of tourist on a daily bases. Dip in waters of holy Ganga, visit to Vishwanath ji temple, shopping from Streets of old banaras and food are major activities for tours and locals. The project looks at ghat area along with facilities, approach roads, sign ages, lighting, beautification, etc. Sanitation, conviniences, signages etc were some of the aspects studies and special emphasis on pedestrian movement and lighting was given.
